And the legs make their debut for the first time since September! The weather in Boston was nothing short of perfection this weekend, so I wore this outfit for a long walk through the city Sunday afternoon. As you can see, I still haven't gotten my hair cut and I'm becoming progressively more self-conscious of its length and general unruliness. I tried to clean things up with these tailored shorts which were a recent purchase from Anthropologie. I just love how crisp and clean they are, I apologize in advance if you see them about 50 billion times (give or take) this summer.
Finally, it's worth sharing (for my Boston friends) that I signed up for Mass. General's free public forum on April 2, Health is Beauty: Defining Ourselves, which focuses on body image and the media -- a cause very close to my heart. What makes this event even more exciting is that Franca Sozzani is a panelist! As the editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia I've been a huge fan for years, but grew particularly fond when she spoke out against pro-ana sites this time last year (you can see my post about it here). I'm so excited to see somebody of her position speak out against a topic often glazed over (or completely avoided) in the fashion industry. Should be a very good time.
